Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. The service

InvoiceHub provides an API and web dashboard for validating electronic invoices against the EN 16931 standard and related formats. By creating an account or calling the API you agree to these terms.

2. Validation is advisory, not legal certification

InvoiceHub reports conformance against published business rules to the best of its ability. It is a developer tool, not a tax, legal, or accounting service, and a passing result is not a guarantee of acceptance by any tax authority or trading partner. You remain responsible for your compliance obligations. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

3. Accounts & API keys

You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or breach these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to exceed published rate limits by circumvention, to attack or reverse-engineer the platform, or to resell raw access without authorisation. The free tier is for evaluation and reasonable production use within its limits.

5. Plans, billing & cancellation

Paid plans are billed via Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the dashboard billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceHub is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on a validation result. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
